Dr. Marcelo Parreira do Amaral is full professor of international and comparative education and educational researcher at the University of Münster, Germany and Visiting professor at the University of Turki, Finnland. He holds a Master’s degree in Education Sciences and American Studies and a doctoral degree in Social Sciences from the University of Tuebingen. Parreira do Amaral is also member of NESET II (Network of Experts on the Social Aspects of Education) funded by the European Commission (https://nesetweb.eu/en/). His main research interests include international comparative education, education policy, international educational governance and its implications for educational trajectories, in particular issues of access to and equity in education.
