Ralph Chan is a PhD student and holds a BA and a MA degree in Sociology from the University of Vienna. His research interests are sociology of education, sociology of youth, urban studies and social policy. His research areas are closely interrelated to the YOUNG_ADULLLT project and to the network RYOT as he has researched on the Austrian education and training system and has experience in interviews with youths and young adults. Currently, he is writing his PhD thesis on the decision process of Austrian youths in school-to-school or school-to-work transition.
