Ellen Vanderhoven is an ESRC funded PhD candidate at the University of Glasgow School of Education. She holds an MSc in Education, Public Policy and Equity from the same institution, as well as a BA in European Social and Political Studies and a PGCE from University College London. Her doctoral research evaluates transfer of the German Dual Apprenticeship model to Mexico, focusing on the equity impacts of the policy as young people transition from apprenticeships into work and/or further study. This builds on her past work as a researcher in the fields of vocational and community education at the University of Glasgow and Glasgow Caledonian University. Ellen is also co-founder and manager of the Education Public Policy & Equity (EPPE) Network.
